The English Language Institute of Westchester Community College offers in-person courses for beginning students (Levels 0-2), as well as online courses for advanced beginners/low intermediates (Level 3 & 4). Learn and actively practice basic vocabulary, grammar, speaking and listening skills necessary for daily living, employment and post-secondary education. Three sessions take place at the library annually: a winter/spring session, a summer session and a fall session. The course fee is $35, and attendees must purchase the course books, which cost about $45. Registration is by phone only. Students will be interviewed and will take a placement test to determine level.
