We have two wonderful spaces designed for the exclusive use of children. The Children’s Room of the New Rochelle Public Library is an inviting space on the ground floor. The Huguenot Children’s Library, on North Avenue, is the New Rochelle Public Library’s branch devoted exclusively to children. Both locations offer a series of free, enriching programs for children, and their parent or caregiver, each season. Check our online calendar to learn about upcoming programs.
Both locations house an extensive collection of juvenile print and non-print resources, child-sized furniture and computers with appropriate programs, and a welcoming, warm environment. Both areas are staffed by trained children’s librarians and library assistants.
