The New Rochelle Public Library and Huguenot Children’s Library are open to the public!

The Main Library is open on Mondays and Fridays from 9 am – 5 pm, on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9 am – 8 pm, on Wednesdays from 10 am – 6 pm and on Saturdays from 10 am – 2 pm.

Public service staff will provide assistance at the circulation desk, in the children’s room and at the reference desks on the first and third floors. State Guidelines permit only 50% capacity of building occupancy at a time, which means we can have 110 patrons in the building at a time.

Limited Computer Use:
During each session, a small number of computers in the third floor Computer Lab and in the BLISS Center are available for patron use. Access is limited to one hour, per patron. The print station is available; however, patrons will need to have exact change. No monetary exchanges are currently available. There is also be a scanner available for public use. Patrons can also connect to library WiFi on their personal devices. For details, please see the third floor reference desk, or call 914-813-3737.

Children ages 12 years and younger can reserve computers in-person, using the library’s reservation software.

The Friends of NRPL:
The Friends of NRPL Bookstore is open to customers on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays from 10 am – 4 pm. The Friends of NRPL are restricting book donations to 2 small bags or 2 small boxes per patron. Patrons can drop off their donations during Friends Bookstore hours.
